Glovemaker Elvis Grant Phillips told me it’s all good on the gloves front, that he delivered the mitts Floyd Mayweather will use Saturday to the Nevada commission “the day I was supposed to, Wednesday.”
“All done,” the craftsman said.
And has the commish signed off on ’em?
“They signed off on them for the last 20 years, why would now be any different,” he said, chuckling.
